How to mention technical skills in your resume?

Let’s talk directly about your resume which you carry when you are going for a job interview.
So coming to the point without any extra discussion.

Friends, you should know that the most important part which interviewer sees when you give your resume: Your skills section.

1. I have seen many candidates who write this in their technical skills section: JAVA, Python, SQL C, C++, HTML, PHP, Networking, etc.

Guys, please! Why are writing so many skills?
I am sorry, I don’t want to hurt your feelings but it is very very difficult to have all the skills in one brain!

2. Also, many guys wrote like C++, Networking, MS Word, Excel etc.

I have mentioned 2 points above.
Hope what was the different kind mistakes in both above-mentioned lines.

1. Let me explain what my first point was.
Don’t write many no of skills.
Now you will ask what to mention in the technical skills section of your resume?

Write only the skills you are best in.
Be honest with yourself and mention only the skills in which you are most comfortable with.

For Eg, You can mention C, SQL, and Testing
Or C++ and SQL
Or HTML, C
Or any 2 or 3 skills.

The most important thing you should keep in mind is never ever mentioned the skills which you don’t know. Don’t mention every skill like JAVA, Python, C, C++, HTML, PHP, etc.

2. Don’t mix your skills with Microsoft skills.

Write another small section (Maybe you can name other skills) and mention Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint,

The best way is to write only 2 or 3 skills or maximum 4 skills if you are genius: P

So don’t worry at all, be a good candidate, even if you don’t know the answer, simply say “Sorry, I don’t know about it”.
Telling I don’t is much better than making excuses like ”Oh, It was in my mind, I just forgot! ”

Last word for you guys: Its truth, and hope it will inspire you too:

Believe me Guys, as we search for good jobs, the recruiters or the HR people also look for better candidates!
I have been friend with many HR people and they are always tensed about how to get good candidates!

Don’t give an interview like I will go and qualify one-two rounds. Give one interview and put your 100% effort!
